From administration to laundry care. Always a kind word most all of them know my father‘s name many of them know my name. He has a very nice well-kept spacious room and he looks forward to meal time. There’s a large selection on the menu and they have special dishes every day also. He has enjoyed the food very much and the fact that the dining room is open from 7 AM to 7 PM and he can go anytime he likes instead of scheduled meal times. The layout of the rooms, the layout of the building the amenities, such as a pub, a bistro, a therapy room being able to watch birds in an aviary and fish and a fish tank are all things he takes advantage of. The hallways are very nice width so people with wheelchairs can pass comfortably going opposite directions. We are very happy with the care and how fast they respond. He was in a different facility before Danbury and we were not happy with how long it took for them to respond amongst other things. His room is a good size and convenient for him as he is in a wheelchair and can only use his right arm. His room is well equipped with safety equipment and he is very happy with it. They seem to have a lot of activities and live entertainment. The food seems to be pretty good also. The facility is clean, nicely decorated, has a lot of amenities, it has a fish tank and an aviary, the birds are pretty and fun to watch.
