What our family likes the most about Country Villa ALF is the staff. The staff members there have been great, approachable and accommodating. Also the quality of care services they provide for the residents has been excellent.
About the facility Country Villa ALF
Our Country Villa ALF is a luxury facility located in a gated private land of 7 archers 7-acres private lot surrounded by a variety of colorful cactuses along the walkway. Facility features beautiful private lake where residents can walk around or sit on a porch and enjoy the scenery of wild life. Canadian gooses, gorgeous egrets, turtles, bunnies etc...it is very picturesque and we think therapeutic.
We take pride in exclusive interior design full of custom made wood work, designers furniture and lamps. Most beds are with adjustable mattresses. Two living rooms with TVs and fire place. Please mention that bedrooms are spacious and private (4 private and 1 semi-private)
Our residents will enjoy a home made cuisine prepared for them. Our menu will reflect individual residents requests.
Besides many activities that we are offering, We have professional team of physicians including Telehealth by mental health physician available, nurses, aides, as well as physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech pathologist to meet the needs of our residents at their request.
Our facility is very easy to find and conveniently located 20 mins from downtown Jacksonville and 10 mins from Jacksonville international airport.

Terrible Nursing Home
My boyfriend put his Mom in this home because it was just a few miles from home and the director seemed to really care. Rules changes once she was there, we were told to call before coming, care taker doesn’t speak enough English to explain how she had fall and the only reason we knew she fell was another resident was woke up during the night and asked to help get her up and let my boyfriend know the next day when he was visiting his Mom! We brought her home for a few days and notice all the cuts, scrapes and bruises on both arms.Needless to say she didn’t go back! DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVE ONE IN THIS PLACE!!!!

It is unfortunate that family feels that way. We are small 6-bed facility and take excellent care of all our residents. Information provided is false. Ms. [name removed] was brought to our facility with band aid on her right elbow. At no time she had any falls in our facility. She enjoyed her stay, home made food and socialized with other residents which evidenced by many pictures. We provided family with a great discount. However, they still were not happy with a price. All our current residents families are very happy with our care.

Great country place
I visited a friend that reside there. Cozy friendly and clean. Beautiful and warm atmosphere. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
When I came it was a dinner time. I waited in the living room watched tv. They offered me something to drink while waiting. Beautiful yard and surroundings well maintained and manicured . The atmosphere and nature of the staff make a great environment and enjoyable experience for a visitor and the occupants whom reside there without a doubt ! According to my friend the food is delicious and it smelled good for sure . So for those of you looking to place a family member this I would have to say would be a great place for them.

Do your research
You will be told many things to get you to place your family member here. Get them and the rules in writing. Rules change daily, no meal menus provided, no activities. Owner is unwilling to listen and even cussed at our family as we were moving mom's things out. She decided that day that we could only have 2 people move mom's things when there is no rule on this. We had 4 and were very quiet and respectful but she chose to cuss at us to the point we thought we were going to have to call the police to get her things out.
