For over 20 years, our highly dedicated staff has provided compassionate, professional care for our residents, earning us an excellent reputation. We’re also pet-friendly! Stop by for lunch or book a free stay in our furnished guest suite to experience the Country Pines difference firsthand.</p> <h3>Common Areas</h3> <p>Our residents have easy ground-level access to our on-campus amenities and common areas. Outdoor courtyards between living quarters provide green space just outside your door. Walkways through our thoughtfully landscaped grounds lead to a welcoming, wooden gazebo with benches and a bistro set, creating a perfect space for kicking back in the fresh mountain air. Our memory care wing centers around a private courtyard with a soothing water feature. Indoor common spaces are decorated in a rustic chic style, with distressed wood surfaces and metal wall signs creating the comforting atmosphere of an easy, country lifestyle. Houseplants scattered throughout bring life to corners and tables. A cozy seating area encircles a fireplace next to the dining hall, separated by a half-wall that allows natural light to flow between the two spaces. We have a fitness room where we host exercise classes and our visiting physical therapist, complete with safe equipment designed for senior use. The memory care section has additional common spaces, including a lounge area with plush leather couches, a glowing fireplace, and a mounted tv.</p> <h3>Living Options and Amenities</h3> <p>We offer a range of living quarters designed to preserve the independence of our residents, so they can live how they please with the peace of mind knowing our compassionate care staff is never far away. Before you step into one of our independent living apartments, you’ll notice a small landscaping bed by each door for you to decorate with plants and decor for your own personal flare. The apartments come in one and two bedroom floor plans, with plenty of living space to fill with your furniture and keepsakes. All apartments feature a laundry room and a full kitchen with a fridge, microwave, sink, and stove, for the convenience and enjoyment of preparing meals right at home. The apartments also include private, accessible bathrooms with walk-in showers. Cable TV and wifi are provided, and you won’t have to worry about lawn care. Our assisted living units are designed studio-style with space for a bed, couch, and a few small pieces of furniture. The units are carpeted and come with a private bathroom and a walk-in closet space. The newly-built memory care wing provides safety and security, with semi-private or private suites designed for accessibility, including features like roll-in showers and grab bars. Whenever friends and family would like to stop by for a visit, we have ample parking around our grounds.</p> <h3>Dining Amenities </h3> <p>Regionally-acclaimed chef Randy Thorstead designed our dietary program for well-balanced nutrition and superbly delicious cuisine. Our meals are professionally prepared from scratch each day and garnished to create appealing dishes that look as good as they taste. Residents may partake in restaurant-style dining, pulling up a chair next to friends and enjoying table service. We also deliver meals to resident living quarters, if they’d prefer to eat in the comfort of home. The memory care wing has a specially designed dining area with numbered tables for ease of recognition.</p> <h3>Activities</h3> <p>Our activities director coordinates a schedule of engaging events and entertainment, appealing to the diverse interests of our residents. With everything from live music to tai chi, there are plenty of opportunities to revel in existing interests and explore new ones! We host lectures and discussions sure to broaden your mind. Indulge your creative side in our art classes, or get a little dirt on your hands as you cultivate plants with our gardening club. Keep your dancing shoes handy for regular dances, where residents move to the beat of live music, then snack on refreshments, before getting back on the dance floor. Residents especially love our festive Valentine’s Day Dance and Summer Sock-Hop. We organize off-site excursions, like a father/son fishing trip for the anglers among us. In the familiar setting of our own courtyards, we host BBQs and outdoor picnics for residents to mingle while enjoying the fresh air. Exercise classes provide residents with a chance to stimulate their bodies and enjoy the benefits of movement. </p> <h3>Personal Services</h3> <p>For the convenience and well-being of our community, we offer a variety of personal services. Our weekly housekeeping service cares about the details, customizing how they tidy, make your bed, or arrange your clothes to your liking. For our spiritual residents to practice in the comfort of a familiar space, on-site worship services take place every Sunday along with a mid-week bible study group. We bring in a beautician to our on-site beauty salon for residents to indulge in a little personal pampering and show off their style. A visiting physical therapist can assist residents in movement and rehabilitation. And you can leave the hassle of driving to us – we provide transportation around town for errands, appointments, and other outings.</p> <h3>Surrounding Area</h3> <p>The Wasatch Mountains create a serene backdrop for the 21,000 residents of Clinton, Utah. We’re situated within a few blocks of a variety of amenities, including a pharmacy, big box stores, and other retail shops. City parks nearby provide paved walking paths, great for taking a stroll while spectating local sports teams. History buffs will love to check out the Hill Aerospace Museum, complete with exhibits on the Air Force, military aircrafts, and historical artifacts. Westside Clinic, our founder’s medical facility, is just down the road, ready to serve our community with high-quality care. Davis Hospital Weber Campus is a five-minute drive from our community as well, with an emergency room and services for acute care needs. Ogden Regional Medical Center is just a few more miles away and also offers a broad range of medical services.</p> <h3>Medical Services</h3> <p>At Country Pines, we offer tiered levels of care based on need. We confirm the safety of those in our independent living apartments with regular check-ins throughout the day. Sometimes a resident just needs a helping hand to button-up their shirt or provide assistance walking to the dining room. Our compassionate staff is trained to help with these activities of daily living, and so much more. We can provide aid with medication management, ensuring residents take consistent and accurate dosages. We can also give friendly reminders to residents to use the restroom or assist with incontinence as needed. Our memory care staff are specially trained to handle the particular challenges of Alzheimer’s and dementia, helping to redirect wandering and exit-seeking behaviors while maintaining a calm, friendly demeanor.</p> <h3>Care Types Offered</h3> <p>Country Pines is considered an <em>Assisted Living Type II</em> community, which in the state of Utah refers to a facility that provides an array of coordinated supportive personal and health care services available 24 hours per day to residents.
