They were understaffed when we were there, we moved to [facility name removed] on [date removed].

Beautiful facility- unable to accommodate complicated care
I sought this facility out as a secure living environment for my mother. My mother is and was a difficult patient.
She is struggling with early onset dementia and psychiatric care. After a psychiatric stay at a mental health hospital, she was not welcome back.
Exceptional cleanliness and a beautiful facility. The special dietary needs (gluten and nut free) of my mother were able to be be met!
However, they were unable to accommodate "a difficult patient" whose medical needs were not only early onset dementia care-- she also has psychiatric issues.
Upon discharge from a psychiatric hospital mom was not welcome back there. "We are unable to accommodate her level of care."
I needed a safe, secure facility for mom to live in while we navigated her medical and psychiatric needs.
Commonwealth did their best, yet were unable to help us.

Commonwealth is Family.
Commonwealth is a wonderful community. My mom is adapting well and has experienced all good. She really likes it there. These staff is super supportive.
I gave a 4 on food because my mom says every once in awhile she doesn't care for the selection. Commonwealth offers transportation services to meet residents needs. They have a day set up for medical. A day set up for groceries or other shopping services. You just have to call the week before if needed the following week.
Also initially I thought it was only 2 meals a day provided. Commonwealth provides all 3.
My mom and I highly recommend Commonwealth it is a lot of value for your dollar.

We picked this community, because it felt very welcoming and helpful when I spoke with them on the phone and called me back quickly. It was amazing. I would have a friend, call them, get a tour, and let them know that my loved one is so grateful to be there.

Subpar Independent Living
We picked this community, because they allowed dogs and were in our price range. But also the renovations looked nice and promising I haven't been impressed. They don't have good communication or follow through. Trasportation was offered but not provided as promised.

I would recommend this place
I would tell others looking to go visit at sporadic times throughout the day. You can see what is going on and communicate with them if there are any concerns that you may be having.

Comforting Environment

Comfortable
I have lived here at Addington Place at East Paris for over a year now. I reside in building five, and it is part of the assisted living setting on campus. It's comfortable. The staff is good. My room is comfortable.

New ownership and management
I work in the industry and have seen multiple positive changes made in the community with regard to its employees and their commitment to making resident care the top priority. I'm told that new ownership will be making many improvements and upgrades in the coming months. It will be exciting to see those come to fruition.
