While there she received excellent care. The facility is small so they know everyone by name. It is clean, bright facility with single rooms for each resident. They have a wonderful program of activities as well as events for family participation. We enjoyed many Sunday picnics with mom and the Artis family of caregivers. These outdoor events in their garden area were well planned and gave us the opportunity to interact with other families and residents. My mother really enjoyed living at Artis and I always knew she was safe and happy there. Mom recently passed and it was a great relief to me that she could stay there while in hospice care. Gentiva Hospice worked with Artis caregivers to provide mom with a quality end of life care. I can not say enough about how positive my experience was with both Artis and Gentiva.
