Most everyone has a life outside of Centre Meadows whether bowling in the winter or golfing in the summer. It's no different from the over 55 gated community that I lived in in California. The difference lies in the fact that we all live in separate apartments within the same building. Regardless of the weather many of us choose to play cards or bingo or bunco. We pay an extra amount each year & for that a variety of event occur put on by staff for an occasional movie & pizza lunch, there is a small theater room where movies & popcorn are shown every Saturday evening. 4 nights a week a staff member orders meals from different local restaurants for all who choose to order at a [fee removed] per meal cost. Some of us choose to eat in the community room, others choose to have their meal delivered to their apt.
