I think they cheated my father out of money and the food continues to be less than it should. I have questions every month on billings.

Mom is Safe, in better Health and Comfortable
My mom has received excellent care as a resident of Cedar Creek for about six months. I am so thankful for this wonderful place! The staff is absolutely awesome and they honestly care about each person. All staff and residents are happy and kind. I visit often and haven’t found even one person that didn’t smile and say hello as they walked around the clean sunny facility or beautiful internal courtyards. There are no steps to trip on. The wide hallways have windows so You don’t feel closed in. She’s not alone & is actually engaging with others! (music, singing, games & talking) The nurses & nursing aids are the absolute best and assist her with gentle kindness. I don’t have to worry about her being hurt and alone, or missing any of her medicines or meals. She always gets the correct medicine on time. Laundry & cleaning is done for her. She likes the hair salon. She chooses meals from good food options. Many times she wants “her” dining room instead of going with us to a restaurant.

Change in service level
This facility started out great but recent changes in admin and other areas have me very concerned. No regular administrator, no head RN, money being pulled from my fathers bank account for no reason and no one able to get it back. Also the quality of food has sunk to new lows. My father informed me
of a possible food poisoning outbreak.
I was told that there was a Christmas lunch for family but they sent the invites out without stamps so they all came back. Someone needs to take charge at this facility now!

Review for Cedar Creek of Muncie
The staff seemed more engaged.I have spent most of my time talking with their lead sales person at the facility but I've felt him to be very honest and open. This facility was not the first choice by my parents. That first choice turned out to be a bad one. I also spent time with the resident ambassador who was very helpful.

Disappointed
My loved one was only here for a week or two. I had told Lynd Place my loved one needed memory care. They found out within the week she was there that they could not care for her because she needed memory care. They helped us find another place, but it was very frustrating that they did not listen to us in the first place and said they could provide the care she needed.

Mom seems happy
We decided on Lynd Place because price wise they were a bit cheaper. All of the staff were very welcoming and outgoing during our tour. My mother chose this facility because she felt the residents seemed to be more out and about. they have some really good staff members here. Our only problem has been with the cleaning services - they are not changing her sheets and cleaning on a regular basis - but they are listening to our concern and trying to improves. Other that that things have worked out great and we would recommend them to others looking.

Management Directly Tied to Patient Care
They did great beforehand. They had an abrupt management change and patient care suffered due to this. We removed our loved one because of this. The change in care I would characterize as "fell off a cliff". Go to their sister facility instead at New Castle.

Making the transition easy.
Moving my mother into an assisted living facility was a difficult decision, but [name removed] and the staff at Lynd Place made it obvious this was the best choice. Their care and attention to the residents is easy to see. I'm so relieved to have her in a great place.

The community was wonderful! The cost of the community was reasonable all the care they would have been able to provide for my loved one.
The community has WiFi access in the apartment for our loved one, items being delivered to my loved on'es room. They even had their own post office in the community.

Communication regarding our loved ones health could use improvement
When we were there in March it was clean, but there have been times they do not come in to clean our loved ones room. They do provide a lot of care services, however due to COVID there have been no activities. This community felt very homey, it did not feel clinical at all. The rooms would be a five out of five, very good in size and very nice. Our loved one says the food overall is okay.

Lynd place is a very nice facility. There are plenty of activities for residents to do so that they are not just sitting in their room alone. I love the the layout of personal space. Residents can have the feel of home and that is very important. I would recommend this facility to others.

The customer service we have received here so far has been outstanding. We requested out of the blue 4 extra meals when our mom was checking in and they were happy to help. The meal was very good. We have been at several other facilities with other family members over the past 2 years and Lynd Place is at the top of our list. Great job!!
