I was so very thankful for Caleo Bay. The Staff was so kind to my aunt and treated her with respect and dignity. As I was live out of state. I was so grateful to feel that my aunt was in good hands, and that she was safe. Whenever I called I got updates. Was able to speak to her or her care team. It was a stressful situation to find her a home and once I walked into Caleo Bay. I immediately felt more relaxed! Thank you Place for Mom for connecting us to Caleo Bay and thanks to Caleo Bay for the great care. When we lost my Aunt I was there and though I was the only of her family to be there I was surrounded by loving, caring people who helped send her off in peace and comfort.

Exceptional service highly recommend for family
Caleo Bay was an excellent choice for us at the time. We have since placed my mother in law in a board and care home at this point . She was at Caleo for two and a half years prior. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families, it was always very good place

So far, So Good
Caleo Bay has been great and [name removed] transition was smooth. I would recommend because they specialize in only memory care. [name removed] was amazing in helping us with the long distance transition and the staff has been great to my mom as she visits often.

So far is has been marvelous. I like all of the area that the residents are able to roam around in rather than being secluded in a room. I am very happy. She has only been here a few months but it has been a great experience so far. All of the staff are very nice and attentive and know everyone by name and on top of things. A lot of the staff have been there a long time and it is not just a job for them. I would highly recommend Caleo Bay.

We picked this community because, It was the first one I went to. I trusted what A Place for Mom said about the facility. When I met with [name removed] it was clear I could feel good about my aunt being there. It's an awful situation having to place your family in a home when you can't care for them yourself. I am thankful she is with such good people in such a nice place

We ooked at other places but they took my loved one right away, and we are very happy with the community. It has been great, and has taken a load off of us. It has been a new and great experience. They were very helpful and right on top things. I would highly recommend.

We cannot believe the quality of care they show our loved one every single day. They were a true God send, and it is just a fabulous place. The staff there from top to bottom are the most compassionate and caring group of people. When our loved one first moved in they took her to the chef to introduce her, it was incredible. The director is great, they send out calendars every month showing us what the residents will be doing. They also send out notes to us on what is going on. They are very communicative. They have a pediatrist come every two months and before any type of medical changes are done the staff reach out to us first. When we call every day since we live out of state the med-techs tell us every single think that happened in the morning up until the evening. The staff just loved one our loved one and keep her laughing all the time

Our families experience, a nice community
The community is extremely clean and the friendliness of the staff is excellent. Our loved one is doing great there. We like that all of the staff are very well trained especially in the special care that our loved one needs. The staff are very courteous and we are really happy where she is. We feel more secure and that gives us that peace of mind. Everything is going so smoothly which we hope continues. They have flower arrangement classes, they have a dog there that residents can visit with, there is also bingo. We would recommend the Caleo Bay community to other families

Very welcoming totally on top of the need to check him every time he uses the bathroom. Activities fill his every waking hour. Staff warmly patient, cheerful, caring, meeting varying needs of each resident! Unique care!

Don't Go to Caleo Bay
We experienced bad service. My husband fell four times, and the last time he broke a hip. We're missing some items. They could never find anything we lost, including a ring and a watch. Our clothes were labeled, turned up missing, and were never returned. They broke a snow globe with our anniversary in it. Every time we call to check in with them about the items that we've lost, they don't' return our calls. We've had a very bad experience with them, and we're moving out.

Unbelievable Care
We want to take this opportunity to thank the entire professional and caring team at Caleo Bay for taking such wonderful care of our mom during a very difficult "end of life" period for our family. We want to specifically acknowledge the current manager [name removed], the previous manager [names removed] and especially [name removed]. The attention payed to our mom was evident on every level and every day that our dad was able to visit with her, until Covid lock down. And when that was no longer possible, because of Covid 19 lock down protocols, they responded to his calls, sometimes 3x a day. Mom was a resident from October 2019 thru her passing this past month. They focus on family thru all of their programming, and support. They celebrated my parents love story every day. The facility is ultra clean, never felt like a traditional nursing home. The food was not that bad either. Anyway we would highly recommend this specialized center as we looked into so many options in the Palm Desert area, where mom could be close to dads home.
We would give it a 10 out of 10.

Fantastic Location for a Difficult Time in Ones Life.
Caleo Bay has an amazing staff. [Name removed] the resident manager is wonderful and the whole staff does a great job. It is very clean and always smells good. For the type of care they provide they do and amazing job. We are very happy to have my mom at Caleo Bay. She feels safe there which is so important.

Horrible place...
Horrible place to leave your loved one. Miss [Name removed] does not care about anything place is falling apart. Not enough care staff,they have about 4-5 care staff every day and 46+ residents to take care of, not enough care. Do not place your loved one here this will be a bad decision to make.

Caleo Bay is Wonderful
Caleo Bay is a First Class memory care facility. The staff and management make you feel comfortable from the start. They care for each and every person as an individual, catering to their specific needs. I feel so much relief, knowing that my father is being cared for by such wonderful people. The facility is immaculate and they have plenty of activities for those who wish to participate. What is most important is that they treat their patients with the care and respect that they deserve. I would recommend Caleo Bay to anyone who has a loved one needing the extra care that can only be given by those with such specialized experience, knowledge and understanding. Thank You Caleo!!!

Our mother had mild dementia but at 92 she was diagnosed with cancer and we felt that Caleo would deliver the best care for her. She settled in and made friends, enjoyed the activities and the meals. The staff seems to know everyone by name and makes every effort to be aware of their condition and where abouts at all times. We were very pleased with how they cared for our mom.
