The staff here was beyond what I could have hoped for in her care. She had had a stroke that affected her speech, but she could still communicate. She loved all of the activities that went on. As time passed dementia began to set in but she didn't let that stop her. She would reach out her hand to everyone she passed to say hello. In her final week not only was family holding a vigil but also the staff and fellow residents. They all loved her so much and the kitchen staff made sure the family had drinks and snacks to make us more comfortable during this difficult time. After she took her last breath, her memorial service was held here with all of the people that loved her so much. I cannot say enough about Brookdale Robinwood. Through my time here I saw the compassion and caring that is top notch.
