Her back got infected. She went back to the hospital for 2 weeks antibiotics and then went to hospital rehab. She went one night to Brookdale, wouldn’t call for help and fell and broke her hip. Once again she went to skilled nursing and rehab. Once all that was healed, she was now wheelchair bound. She went back to Brookdale. While she was in facilities, the nurses from Brookdale visited her in rehab. Once back at Brookdale, all the staff quickly learned momma’s particulars to keep her safe. They accompany her around the facility for activities, including her in as many things as possible. She has some dementia but is very personable and loves visiting with the other residents. Very clean, well kept facility.
