I toured BWP, and saw how nice and clean the facility is, and how caring and nice all the staff was in every area. All the apartments are private, and secure. My father has passed and the staff took such great care of him in [removed] until the very end. My mother still loves living at BWP, and has friends that are in her peer group, daily fun activities, three meals a day, and daily communication with staff on how she is doing. Her doctors are located in the Drake hospital that is located right down the hall. She was not happy about moving to an Assisted Living community since 'daughters are suppose to care for their mothers'. Fortunately we found Bridgeway Pointe in Cincinnati and everything that they say they are, THEY ARE. \nThe people care for my mother like she's family. The director sees that the residents are immediately welcomed and my mom had friends for meals that first day. These same friends now knock on her door daily to see that she joins them in social events. Mom is happy and cared for. She has her own one bedroom apartment, a variety of meals, 2 or 3 social events everyday and it is very affordable since this is a non-profit. At Bridgeway Pointe, residents are able to live as active of a lifestyle as they choose. With a fitness center, aquatics water therapy, and many other amenities available on-site, there are numerous opportunities for residents to practice old hobbies or learn something new. Certain neighborhoods are pet-friendly, too! So, feel free to bring your favorite four-legged friend along with you.</p> <h3>Community Services and Amenities</h3> <p>Licensed nurses and caregivers are available around the clock, 24 hours a day, offering assisted living services such as medication management and assistance with daily living activities. Ambulatory, incontinence, and diabetic care is available, as well. We recognize that many residents may require services that are not offered on-site, which is why we work with local physicians and schedule regular visits. If you’d rather stay with your current physician, we will work with them in order to schedule appointments and organize proper transportation.</p> <p>One of our neighborhoods at Bridgeway Pointe is dedicated to caring for those with early- to late-stage dementia and Alzheimer’s. This secure community is staffed by caregivers and nurses who are specially trained in caring for those with memory loss. Each resident receives intimate, one-on-one care in order to help them feel safe, secure, and cared for. Our memory care neighborhood features an enclosed courtyard with walking paths, so residents can enjoy the fresh air without getting lost or wandering.</p> <p>While medical needs are our main concern, we strive to fulfill your social, mental, and spiritual needs, as well. Thanks to our housekeeping and laundry services, residents can spend less time focused on chores and more time doing the things that bring them joy. Weekly non-denominational and Catholic services are held in our on-site chapel, allowing residents to meet others with similar interests and beliefs. We also schedule daily activities, such as wellness classes and arts and crafts sessions, as well as monthly trips to local attractions.</p> <h3>Living Arrangements</h3> <p>We currently offer a variety of floor plans for residents to choose from. For those in assisted living neighborhoods, we offer studio and one-bedroom apartments, each equipped with either a full kitchen area or a convenient kitchenette. Each apartment includes a private bathroom equipped with a wheelchair-accessible shower, grab bars, and other safety features.</p> <p>For those in our memory care neighborhood, we offer a variety of studio apartments. Choose the perfect floor plan that provides your loved one with an ample amount of space, but still feels warm and inviting.</p> <p>Regardless of your level of care or personal preferences, our apartments serve as excellent spaces for residents to unwind and relax at the end of a busy, activity-packed day.
