Everyone has been friendly and helpful. The help with the restroom odor problem here, been exceptionally helpful. One of the pipes outdoors had been leaking from the toilet pipes. The problem and ordor have been fixed quick.

Not the same place
I put my Mother into this facility after a series of hospitalizations. When [name removed] owned the facility it was wonderful. Since StoryPoint has aquired them it has gone completely downhill. I would not reccomend this facility to anyone looking for good care. The only person working there that is fantastic is the activities director.

The best decision ever
I am so pleased with the overall experience at Flourish Collection at Oakland. My parent transitioned so easily and is very happy there. It is beautiful inside and always clean. The activities are absolutely amazing. The Activities Director puts 110% in everything she does and is a ball of energy. There is always something to look forward to. She updates me on how my parent does in all of the activities. The food is very good & nutritious. They have food servers that pay close attention to family members. It is honestly like a family environment. It is not a huge building, one story, and easy to navigate. There is a nightly movie in the comfortable theater.
Housekeeping picks up the laundry weekly like clock work and it is returned hours later. The caregivers are very kind and take their time with the residents. There is a LPN on staff and another Wellness Manager that coordinates so much to make things run smoothly. Very happy overall.

A wonderful place for Dad.
We have had my Dad at Flourish for about 2 months. Knowing Dad we thought this would be a very difficult transition but we told his caregivers a little bit about him. They talked with him about his likes and really made him comfortable.
Dad started to decline. With their help we had him see the doctor and adjusted his meds to meet his needs.
Flourish is a beautiful place with a small ratio of staff to resident. I really feel that Dad is well taken care of and I am very comfortable with Flourish. I would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect, living home for Mom
My mom is so well taken care of and Flourish Collection. The entire team is absolutely fabulous. I could not be happier with the care and love that they show my Mom each and every day. There is always an activity going on, people to talk to, and things to do. I could not be happier finding this perfect home for my Mom. She is so happy and I can relax knowing she’s in good hands when I am not there.

Wonderful caregivers
The directors are truly sensational. The facility is top notch and in summer we enjoyed many strolls in their private garden. The everyday activities are enjoyed by the residents and they make sure that everyone who wants to attend is there. My Dad enjoys the food and especially the soups everyday. The facility personal are willing to make adjustments to the room such as letting my Dad have his own TV at eye level and setting up DVR service for football watching. As crisis in health happens, the residents can push a panic button, and service is immediately given, including calling an ambulance if required. Their support for a recent health crisis with my Dad was much appreciated. My Dad requires help with showers and they are scheduled twice a week, but sometimes he is overlooked unless I follow up with the care givers.

Home away from home.
My grandmother has been a resident for almost two years. The staff is always very welcoming as well as supportive. The food and activities are plentiful. I appreciate their willingness to go above and beyond.

Exceeds expectations
We are exceptionally grateful for the care our mother has received at Flourish Collection in Oakland Township. Fiercely independent but with memory issues that prevented her from safely living alone, she was extremely resistant and not able to understand why she needed help. Not only has she been assimilated into the community, but she participates in activities and social events like never before. She has found enjoyment in her days, and new friends, which we never thought possible. The staff has done an excellent job understanding her needs, making her feel valued and respected. We appreciate Flourish for the positive impact on our lives.

refreshing change
My elderly uncle with some dementia was in a memory care unit and was always complaining about the care and food and limited social activities. I checked into Flourish and they were very sure he would do well in their assisted living unit, so I moved him there in October. The staff have all been very helpful to him and to me. They really show concern for the wellbeing of their residents. The food is excellent and they really try to get residents involved in their many activities.

Beautiful facility / setting with a great staff
Flourish Oakland Township is a Moceri build facility located in a beautiful setting. The facility is now run by the StoryPoint Group. Flourish is a family like environment, with outstanding social activities.

Flourish collection
There are many staff members such as [name removed] the social activities director [name removed] and [name removed] who are excellent. The issue I have is the timeliness of response when my mother pushes her button. It is important to also do more checks on her to ensure she is not sitting in wet diapers. The atmosphere is very good however the timeliness of response to the patients is lacking.

Warm and inviting with fantastic staff!
My mom recently moved in and from day one Flourish has been fantastic. The facility is beautiful, there are always fantastic activities and events going on, the food is superb and the staff is top notch! My mom loves her new home!

My mother lived in the Blossom Ridge independent living for over 2 years. After a stroke, she moved to Blossom Springs memory care community for more help. We were already happy with the staff at Blossom Ridge, but at a low point in my mother's life, they stepped up to help with this transition in a caring, loving way. The staff from the Executive Director down to her caregivers are fantastic. They are always smiling. The residents are like family. I highly recommend this community.
