We often end up taking my husband out or getting carry out. As for the quality of care it varies by who you talk about. The nurses are excellent. The nurse practitioner is never there and hard to reach. I don't think she visits a resident unless you ask for a visit. We've definitely never seen or heard from the doctor who is supposed to oversee things there. The kitchen staff are mostly helpful but some of the kitchen dinner staff can be rude and uncooperative. We've stopped after dinner and learned all he had was rice because they had fish for dinner and he doesn't like fish. They wouldn't get him a hamburger or hotdog because the kitchen was closed. Overall it's a good fit for him since we see him every day and can fill in the gaps. It is a very comfortable, homelike setting.\n\nOverall very nice facility. Could use improvement in menu choices especially at dinner. Nurses and aides are very attentive and cheerful.
