Staffing improvements
A big disappointment!!! It was very nice then employees started quitting. It went downhill from there. Cleaning is almost nonexistent. No one takes responsibility. Food goes from ok to subpar. Constant remodeling No light in parking lot which I've called numerous times over

Used to be excellent
My mom lived here for 4 years. When she first moved in, I was so happy I moved my mom here. The management at that time truly cared about the residents. There were many activities and even though my mom had dementia, the employees made sure she got to the activities they knew she enjoyed. About a year and a half ago, things changed. The long time manager left after Atria purchased Holiday. After that point they could not seem to keep employees. I was understanding that they were short handed, but my mom’s apartment was not cleaned for over a month even though this was supposed to be included in her rent. In addition after a month of her using the same towels, I finally had to ask for clean towels and sheets. Again these were supposed to be changed weekly, so a month is unacceptable even short handed. There was no longer communication from the manager to family of residents even though that was promised by the new manager. I used to praise this place, but would no longer recommend it.

It's clean and someone is always there in the day if we have a question or concern. Least liked aspect is not all services are provided that we were promised when signing lease. Staffing issues have limited services. Food is hit or miss.

Overall a nice welcoming community.
The housekeeping and maintenance man are very helpful and go out their way. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend the Holiday Bethel Park community to other families.

My sister currently resides at Holiday Bethel Park and her experience at this facility has been good so far. The meals and the housekeeping could both be improved. However, the staff is very helpful. I would recommend this facility to those who would like a South Hills place to live.

They are pretty attentive, and helpful. The food is okay, in which they offer three meals per day. They have different activites available. The community is nice, and the area is nice. I like the community, and it was a good fit. I would recommend to others.

Tour experience
Holiday was wonderful. And barring family history, would have been a great fit. I thought VERY highly of Holiday, but mom didn't want to live in the same place her mother in law lived 20 years ago.

Good Atmosphere
Holiday Bethel Park is a pleasant place to live. The building is pretty, and there are a lot of amenities, although my apartment is a little small. All in all the people are nice.

Holiday Bethel Park is a very warm and friendly environment. They're short-handed right now, but that hasn't effected anything. They still carry on as usual. They're always friendly, and the facility is always clean. They have activities, although the turnout for them isn't always there. But but it's a very nice place.

Good times at Bethel retirement
This is definitely worth the price that they ask for the community. They have activities at this community like bingo, name that tune, they also offer learning different languages there from some of the other residents that know other languages. They also have a horse racing game that they play with wooden horse and dice for the residents to have a good time.

It's not the glitziest place but its a very comfortable and friendly place. They seem to really want to take care of you. Housekeeping comes once a week and laundry services for sheets and towels as well. They offer a common laundry room to do their own laundry. Transportation is provided for residents to outings as well as doctors appointments. The residents are friendly and helpful. My loved one seems to enjoy the meals and is very happy here.

A good size and the staff there are very pleasant
Bethel Park is a very bright and welcoming community and there are always people out and about. The staff are very good here and are really responsive. There is not a big variety of meals, they seem to kind of serve the same thing so we wish they would switch it up at times but overall the meals are good with nice portion sizes. Our loved one may not always participate in the activities but they do have plenty going on and the activities director is awesome. Our loved one is really excited for the weather to get nicer so she can walk around the surrounding areas. She is happy there and overall the value is pretty good.

Our tour experience
Our family had an in person tour and it was a good tour but it was a much older facility. It was not as cheerful, the decorations were more traditional and our loved one enjoyed more modern and bright. The lady who gave us the tour spent a long time with us, she was very professional and talk a lot about their covid protocols. Even though we did not choose this facility, we felt it was a comfortable and safe enough place for our loved one.

I am very happy here, suits my needs
There are no meals and dining service here, but we do have our own kitchens so we can cook our own food. It is more independent living and we do have good activities here. I would recommend this community to others.

Love at First Sight
From the minute my mother walked in to view it, she really loved the place. It was bright, airy, and the residents came up and said hi to her. We sat and had lunch together, and it was very good. Her room is a very nice size with a balcony, so she got what she wanted. They do have activities every day, but with Covid they're not making any trips out, and things get kind of stale. But that's really the only criticism we have.

Check It Out
This is a nice place for the money, when you compare to other communities around here. The people are nice. It is clean and has balconies available. There are outdoor spaces as well.
Most of the time my loved one enjoys the food.
