Poor care
Sadly, I found the care here poor. no one would answer the phone at any of the departments when I called. Left frequent emails with no response. When we decided to move my mother to another facility, the Director of long-term care phoned me quite upset and mad. I would not recommend letting any of your loved ones stay here, short term or long.

Everyone is wonderful here
I have been here for four weeks and I have never met people that were so warm and caring in an aftercare facility. from the people that have Alzheimer's to the people with replacement parts .The Physical Therapy
is also great everyone is so carrying and knowledgeable about your problem ,I give this place 10 stars . I highly recommend this place for anyone that needs after care .The food is also excellent I have not had a bad meal .Thank You

Tour of Bayshire
The people were incredibly friendly. My loved one had a negative experience with the rehab facility connected, so it was just not going to be the right fit. The location of the facility is lovely but the room sizes are on the smaller side.

Not the right fit
If I had a little bit more money I think I would move my loved one out. They are extremely understaffed. The administrative staff are very difficult to get a hold of, if they do get back to us the promises that are made are not withheld. I think that if your loved one is more mobile, it may be a better facility for them.

Bayshire Skilled Nursing is no place for rehab
My husband was in the skilled nursing portion of the Bayshire Rancho Mirage facility. His doctor sent him there for rehab prior to coming home because he had grown physically weak and required physical therapy. It was a terrible place for him. First, the physical therapy was not daily but only once or twice a week. We knew he was weak but nobody even bothered to show him leg and arm exercises for the times when he could not get out of bed.
Further, he was not bathed properly and came home with sores on his backside. His clothing was not changed for days on end. And sadly not a single physician or nurse called me to update our family so we had no idea that he was being neglected to the extent that he was. He suffered so much from the lack of care that he called me and begged me: "get me out of this place. I cannot take it here." Finally he discharged himself "against medical advice" and we were able to bring him home.

best place for dad
I was extremely happy with the room he had and the food was outstanding. they had a great variety and they did take requests
The staff went out of their way to take care of my dad and was really nice. The facility is super clean and they took care of rooms and made sure they were clean.
I would recommend this community.

As Good as it gets
i suppose it's as good as it gets, but I don't know. My apartment was okay, and I liked it. My children chose this community for me. I would recommend this community to other families. When I was there the food was good but I hear it has declined since then.

Please don’t take a loved on her
Me and my mother decided to try BrookDale Rancho Maroge. Worse place ever! They lied to me repeatedly and have me in a debt collection under false statements when I was signing paperwork. My mother was also harassed by a male nurse and when asked for this male nurse to please not give her a shower or change her diaper he continued to come back into the room for a couple days later. She asked for a different nurse and wasn’t given one. Until I finally got a hold of the right manager to stop this.
I am in debt for $10,000 when signing paperwork I was told as her power of attorney I would not get billed for. My mother would. I have three children and a debt that I cannot afford. I have called and pleaded for this mid understanding to be resolved and put into my mother’s name. But since she passed I feel they did this on Purpose. I asked for a total breakdown of what each and every penny went to. It just saysBasic services on paper work with 3 Categories with three prices. Which explains nothing.
I also called to check and see if my mom was drinking Because she had cirrhosis of the liver and I also I lived in a different state. They Promised to let me know if did drink or was drunk. I would call as ask them to check On her because she sounded drunk on the phone and they wouldn’t call me back or say the next day she wasn’t drinking. when I or a family member would go there or call her she would say yes I was drinking. They lied to me and family again. For her safety I needed to know and they kept lying to me. You can know when your parent has been drinking when you know them so well and I trusted Brookdale to be honest for her safety and her life! Please to do take a loved one here!

Sales Manager explained needs of dementia patients and requirements for interested parties,. She was very helpful . All staff are supportive and welcoming. Facility has a good layout and offers many activities for all.

Caring and supportive
My mother made a decision to start looking for assisted living places in the desert area. After visiting quite a few she decided on Brookdale Rancho Mirage due to the friendly atmosphere when she walked in and because they provide assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing. She wanted to be sure we wouldn't have to find another place when she needed more services. She has lived at Brookdale for 6 years and we have been very satisfied. Just recently we had to move her to the memory care wing of Brookdale. This is when we found just how caring and supportive the staff of Brookdale is. Not only for our mom but for our family and our requests for mom's comfort. The staff is the best and there are activities to help keep mom engaged. They treat her as I would and I am so appreciative for their care. We rest a bit better when we are not with mom knowing she is cared for by the knowledgeable and compassionte staff.

Be very careful about this place. Loud noisy room.
Constant battle to get the neighbor to turn the TV down at night. Management didn't help. Had to sleep in the living room for a year.
If you're hard of hearing, then it might be ok.

Awful place-my Friend went there for a short stay after back surgery. They did not give her her prescribed pain meds and did not respond to the call button. She was in excruciating pain. They did not respond to her call for assistance to go to the bathroom and took 4 days to help her shower. Another Friend and I had to call every 4 hours to remind them to give her her medication. Even then they slacked off. Not a safe place,

zero Stars. My Frirnd went there for a few weeks to recover from a major back surgery. She used her call button numerous times for help to the bathroom and to receive her prescribed meds. It took up to 45 minutes for them to respond resulting in her being in excruciating pain. Not to mention she had to navigate herself to the bathroom which is a safety risk. Another of her Friends and I called every 4 hours to be sure they gave her her prescribed meds. Awful place-even after we did all the calls and visits they slacked off on her pain meds.

NO CARE
This place is awful, it is understaffed and the residents suffer [Removed] because of it. If I could give it a 0 star I would. My parent does not receive the care they pay for and then they want to constantly up the price. Stay away from this place!!

Kind To My Family, And I
This a pretty nice community, and we had a pleasant tour of it. Everyone was kind to my family, and I. The staff was helpful, and answered our questions. From what we saw the community is well maintained. At the end of the day it was not the one for my mother, but our tour was a good one.
