Everyone who works here is responsible for making it a nice place and friendly and helpful. Residents are top draw and very friendly. I look forward to everyday. Even outside of residence outings.

The care is good
The facility is nice, although a little outdated. The coordinator was nice and knowledgeable however the move in was rough because she hadn't provided all of the requirements. Then we didn't get charged for months, again due to the same coordinator. Otherwise the staff was pleasant and kept mom safe from the time she moved in until her passing.

Excellent Client Services
Astoria Park is a great place for my parents. The caregivers are super friendly and kind to them, from med room, housekeeping, to food services. The administration staff assisted me through the application process and they were very helpful on the concerns and questions that the family had.
My parents are adapting to the facility very well. The night routine check ups are the best. Elderlies often have to get up at night to use the bathroom and falls can happen. My mother's recent fall at night was caught by the caregivers and they helped her up and be sure that she was fine. This service gives the family a peace of mind knowing that our parents are in good hands.

Appreciation for Astoria Park's attention to my client's needs
My client is a wonderful 75 year old lady who is highly educated and respected in her community. Unfortunately she was terribly injured and requires some extra assistance in her activities of daily living. She was staying at a skilled nursing facility for her injuries, but their treatment had completed and she had nowhere to go. We called Astoria and asked for an emergency housing for my client. In less than two hours, Astoria Park made arrangements for my client to become a new resident and seamlessly integrated her into their program the moment we arrived. My client was provided a large, clean, and presentable room. The other residents all came to greet my client and made friends with her. Its a very welcoming community and the facilities are top-notch and high quality. It felt like we were in a resort/hotel. There are multiple lounges and patios. I highly recommend this community.

A friendly senior living experience
My dad has been in assisted living at Astoria Park for the past 5 months. What I like about Astoria Park is that it is large enough to have the amenities, offerings and activities that one would want, yet it is not too big. Its size allows for a comfortable feel, and for the residents to get to know one another and get to know the staff, without feeling like they are in a massive senior living complex. It has a comfortable and cozy feel.
The residents are a nice and friendly group of people. The staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful. They give a personal touch to care. The staff have some flexibility with the care plans to accomodate differing needs of the residents. The independent hairdresser who comes in to the salon on premises is super nice and seems to have a knack for developing a great rapport with the residents.
