So the pool is an elusive dream that I can not get an answer on. Activities are only advertised each day with a print out at the desk that the resident must remember to pick up. No advance activity schedule improvised so you can plan your week. Religious services were presented as a perk, but transportation does not happen. Door to door advertising to make people aware of activities does not happen routinely. People are left to figure it out on their own. Wine parties are a routine 3 times a week and seem to be a hit with a very select group. Cliques develop among the residents, which makes it hard to enter into the community as a new person. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s.
