Aravilla Clearwater it's very clean, cost is fair, quality of care is ok and can always be better, there are lots of activities, good food, so so far so good and it's only been a month in a half.

Be extra Cautious
My mom was there and needed more physical assistance than possible so we left. From the start the tour person was amazing, not just Sales, she was a key contact for anything needed always went above her job title. Living out of state made it difficult the Executive Director went above & beyond to keep me updated. Having the Sales and ED there were 2 additional sets of caring eyes on my mom and I never worried, they genuinely cared for the residents. Forward to now when checking for availability & come to find out that BOTH were laid off for budget reasons last month. How does one get rid of the foundation and 2 most stable, helpful and caring people in the facility? If money is more important than the care of their residents I highly recommend look elsewhere. I would never have left her if they were not there to oversee. Short staffed is a serious issue. I’m sure without them being there Aravilla will suffer tremendously and they will realize they made a big mistake.

No place will be perfect. My loved one is safe now. The community is clean, for the most part, and my loved one likes it. The best plus for them was the layout of the floor, where my loved one can walk as much as they desire. That was important to my loved one and us.
Memory care is not an easy job for anyone in healthcare. The community handle situations that arise quickly and effectively.

A wonderful place for mom.
We found it! We found a wonderful loving and caring place for mom. It is called Aravilla Memory Care here in Clearwater, Florida. Mom is happy, content and has many new friends. The food is excellent, her room is cheery and beautiful. So many fun activities and live music to enjoy twice daily! She’s always smiling and the staff is absolutely fantastic with mom.
There’s no better place. It’s a fabulous home for her and we are so happy and grateful she is here!

Aravilla Clearwater
It seems to be doing good, it's a good place.
The staff is very nice and very helpful. They keep them busy doing activities she has a concierge doctor in-house, so if anything comes up, they have nurses and staff to take care of it. I'm happy with Aravilla.
During the hurricane, I was told that they had backup generators and staff who stayed on for the duration. They have a chef there with food, so that was taken care of. It's a new building, so it's pretty much hurricane proof. They have housekeeping staff on each floor, and laundry service is included. They do a pretty good job of that. The staff seems to be happy, and the people who live there are happy too. I've seen very good care from the staff. If they have to go to a doctor on the outside, they have a service who picks them up and drops them off. They also offered the families to stay during the hurricane if they needed to.
It's a good place from what I've seen when I was looking. It was the best out of ten places and the only place I'd put my loved one in. I think that overall they're doing good.

What I like best is the activities.
They're doing a great job considering the staffing shortages everyone is experiencing right now. The staff are wonderful and are all doing the best they can. They're very good about letting us know when there are any issues and keeping us in the loop. It's a wonderful place overall. It's basically a brand new building, about 1 year old. So everything is clean and new. They have fabulous activities, ranging from Bingo to live music. And since it's memory care, they just bring the residents on down to participate, which I think is great since he wasn't participating at all at a previous place. The food is good too. I just wish it were a little healthier.

What I had hoped for!
In a pinch we had to move my mom from an assisted living to a full-time memory care facility. Luckily after requesting personal reccomendations on social media, I was directed to Aravilla. The executive director, [name removed], also reached put on my post and gave me her number. Even after hours, she talked with me and answered all questions. [name removed], another member of the administrative team met with my brother in person and I (on face-time) and took us for a tour. They talked us through every step to make this transition as seamless as possible.
Once my mom arrived she was greeted by many caring staff members that are able to work through her stubborn moods brought on by her Alzheimer's and encourage the happy and lively person she is naturally. The live music twice a day has absolutely been a highlight for her since she loves singing and dancing. The past few weeks I personally have visited the facility and can attest to the individual care the staff provides all of the residents.

Not an ‘Old Folks Home’ a ‘Memory Care Facility’
I have too much fun here. I have met many of the residents of Aravilla. Many of them I meet for the first time every time I visit. The staff is patient, loving, and very understanding. My mother was very much against going into 'assisted living.' She is 98 years old and has recently become too much for us to keep safe. The first few days were not without challenges as mom can be very stubborn. On my latest visit, mom squeezed my hand and said. “I like it here. This could work. Do you want to come to my room?”

Aeavilla is a Spectacular Memory Care Facility in many ways. The Staff is Caring and always helpful. There is a Great atmosphere with Music and activities everyday. The food is deliscious and the facility is immaculate. My husband is there and I am very happy. They are the Best!!!!

Excellent experience
My friend who was recovering from 2 weeks in the hospital for pneumonia entered Aravilla at 6'1, and 120 pounds. After a month of care and good food he now weighs 140!.
Everyone here is a caring, concerned professional who has helped make his transition a very positive experience .
Every day there is live music which is excellent and diverse. My friend totally enjoys this activity

Exceptional attention to each and every person
As a professional Guarrdian here in Florida I would like with state that Aravilla of Clearwater has been a perfect fit for my ward. She is a cactive personality and the openess of the facility allows her to stay involved with others in regard to her social needs, while at the same time enjoy the comforting surrondings of her own personal living space, keep up the good work. If you want the best care you can get for your loved one, this is the place to put them. I like how friendly the staff are, and they put the care of their patients ahead of everything else. The activities seem to be great. I think the cost is kind of high, but they were fantastic with my mother. And that's worth every cent to me.

I toured the facility & found it to be extraordinarily impressive. It is a place very prepared to take care of your loved ones that needs memory care. The staff was very impressive in their knowledge & helpfulness in answering all questions & fears completely and impressively! They made a complicated process understandable. I have never experiences such caring & help. I highly recommend Aravilla to anyone looking for a memory care unit. Thank God I found them.
