Conveniently located between Fort Myers and Naples, this 26-acre independent living community features beautiful, landscaped grounds with a pond, and excellent amenities that you're sure to enjoy. This community offers several different services, including assisted living, independent living, and memory care — all in a maintenance-free setting. Residents can choose from one- and two-bedroom private apartments which feature in-unit washers and dryers. Some units have balconies overlooking the pond or pool.

This community maintained electricity with generator! (5 days) Our amazing management stayed onsite 24/7 throughout for 6 days providing delivering meals and all services! Communication was excellent! Safety was priority.

My Mom is Happy!
The hours you eat. My mom eats at 4 but on weekends 3. A little early. I wish they had residents assigned to help new residents. They say they have an ambassador program but I don't know of anyone who was approached by an ambassador. Overall my mom is very happy. I know she is safe and loves food and happy hour!

Mom is doing pretty well. She has made some great friends and tho she is moving a bit more slowly, she is still moving! Her only complaint, really, is the food. Although they put on a great Mother's Day dinner, most meals are sub par at best. She loves getting her hair done and enjoys the many amenities.

A great choice for my mom!
My mom has met many new friends.
The only complaint is that they serve liver and onions; and BBQ ribs on the same night...her table has a difficult time deciding! She did talk to the chef about it.
The new activities director apparently talks a lot about herself, so they often don't get much accomplished...but my mom loves the activities offered.
I think AH is one of the most reasonably priced from what we looked at; it was just what my mom needed.

So Happy my Mom is Happy
5 for all...my mom is so happy she moved there.
My mom loves the food; buffet breakfast (she takes fresh fruit/ cereal to her apartment when she's finished in a to-go box since lunch is not included) and the dinners have been great, with quality, quantity, and many of her favorites offered along with a glass of wine...she loves that it is restaurant style with a menu to order from and courses brought to the table. She has participated in lots of the activities (loves the happy hours) and now has "friends" she looks forward to seeing each day; the residents were very welcoming and friendly from the beginning. My only complaint would be that no one gave her an orientation upon move-in. I had to ask the director for information I think should have been offered immediately...when her dinner time was, where she should sit, etc. She went to get something from her car one night shortly after moving in and discovered the doors were all locked; luckily, another resident was going in and gave her the keypad number to open the door. Aside from the slow start to figure things out, she is so happy that she lives there and feels so at home (and I am thankful since we moved her from St. Louis where she lived her whole life to come near me...it could have been a not so great experience!).

Our families experience
American House Bonita Springs has been great so far for our loved one. She was able to have an apartment with a white kitchen that is modern and also has a screened in porch which was most important. She is able to get her hair done every week, the value overall is a really good and we would recommend this community to other families. However the meals are not good, they started our great, but now have gone downhill so that could be improved.

The best in the state
It has been a wonderful expereince. The place is spotless. From the management down to maintenance, they could not be more helpful, patient, and pleasant., It has just been spectacular. The food is EXCELLENT! I am in a smaller apartment which is what I wanted and it is perfect for me. I have visited the in other ones and they are lovely as well.
I would absolutely recommend this facility to others and already have.
