The Administrator of the Alder Leaf site was professional, experienced and able to share a great deal of knowledge and resources when needed, even though she was running two sites and not always at Alder Leaf. Once we selected this site for our Mother, it was critical to take time to review the CONTRACT carefully and contact the Administrator with questions about things not covered in writing. Although we expected our Mother to live much longer than she did, Alder Leaf turned out to be the perfect fit for the remaining months of our Mother's life. Although the location was not near our preferred hospital, the facility was ideal in all other ways. We were impressed by the staff and the fact that some had been employed there for a while. They provided residents with professional care, courtesy and dignity; obviously this demeanor started at the top with the Administrator. It did feel more like a home, less than a nursing facility and was well kept.
