When my sister moved to The Artesian to be closer to family, we wanted her to be in a place where she’d feel supported and surrounded by like minded individuals. The Artesian has gone above and beyond to make her feel at home.
One of the things she loves most is singing to the staff—and the fact that they join in and sing with her makes it even more special. It’s clear they genuinely care about her happiness and well-being.

Grateful for The Artesian
After my father-in-law was diagnosed with dementia and lost his wife, it became clear he could no longer care for himself. It was an incredibly difficult time for our family, but finding The Artesian has been a true blessing.
The peace of mind we feel knowing he is safe, well cared for, and surrounded by a team of wonderful, compassionate staff is priceless. The Artesian has provided him with not only the care he needs but also the warmth and respect he deserves.

Wonderful care for loved ones at the Artesian
The Artesian is a perfect place for my mom. Diagnosed with dementia she has been for the past 2 yrs. Always given exceptional care from the kind and caring staff. Mom is treated like a loved one by all. The staff provided safe, loving, and experienced care to all residents. My moms clean, happy and thankful to be at this Artesian.

Perfect place for our parents
Our parents have been residents of the Artesian of Ojai for one year now. From the first interview with the director, we have experienced professionalism, kindness, and caring. All the staff that interacts with our parents have been wonderful. The food is great and activities have been fun. The facility is bright and new.
Moving was an adjustment but we all feel this is the best place for our parents. Having meals, cleaning, and laundry all included is wonderful. We have gone to many events/activities as a family and feel it is a good fit. We are very happy we did the research and arrived at The Artesian!

Dignity, compassion, friendship
My father’s been at The Artesian of Ojai for 2 years. The caregivers and staff genuinely care about my dad and treat him like family.
The community and activities are engaging which helps him connect with new people.
Since he has been at the Artesian I have found that my relationship with him has improved and now when I see dad, it’s all about catching up and making memories.

Very happy with The Artesian of Oja
We moved our dad from another facility to the The Artesian of Ojai 2 1/2 years ago and we are so glad we did! The staff TRULY CARE. The home-like layout of the buildings is perfect. His favorite activities the musical gathering and local outings. It is wonderful to not worry and to know that Dad is safe and well cared for at the Artesian.

Best place for Dad
After finding that my dad couldn’t care for himself anymore and received a diagnosis of dementia, I searched the area for a place that would feel most homelike. The Artesian has been his home for almost a year now and we have come to appreciate the staff and community there. He always has the opportunity to visit with others through activities or gathering in the main areas, but is also able to spend time on his own when he prefers. The caregivers have been kind and accommodating to him and have become like family.

Tremendous Care and Compassion
After much research about facilities in the area we decided on the Artesian of Ojai for my mom. We couldn’t be happier about our choice. They make fresh, healthy food from scratch. Lovely Place and Staff
We have been absolutely amazed with the Artesian. They have been nothing but professional and wonderful since day one. They have taken great care of our loved ones. The staff is professional and loving. They address every concern we have immediately and the place feels so warm and loving.
We love that they cook home style meals daily, we love the activities they offer and the grounds are so well kept. Everything is clean and beautiful. They are truly a blessing.

Top Notch, Personalized Care in Beautiful and Loving Environment
Our family’s search for the best assisted living community for our mother lead us to The Artesian of Ojai where our mother has been residing for several months. The Artesian has exceeded all of our expectations and hopes. With its Mediterranean style architecture and landscaping, and stunning mountain views, The Artesian’s grounds and setting couldn’t be lovelier. Additionally, we can rest at ease knowing that our mother is in a safe and secure environment. The property is fully fenced, with locks on all the gates, and a concierge stationed in the main entrance. Most importantly, the quality of care that our mother receives is of the highest caliber. Our mother’s care team and all of the staff go above and beyond to provide personalized care based on our mother’s individual needs and preferences. The Care Director proactively communicates and collaborates with our mother’s MDs, with other health care providers and with us. We are so grateful for the quality of life our mother now has!
