It is a beautiful place with kind staff that know your parents. The management, nurses, aides, maintenance, kitchen staff, they all know your parents. They talk to you about events, how they respond to situations, what they discuss. Your parents will have many favorite staff. They keep staff. They add new after training, so the new staff already know your parents. They all talk to your parents, and keep you informed with as much as you want to know. We like to know , so they will call us with any issues, falls, broken glasses, etc... We are all thankful for the care the staff provide our parents. I was more impressed here than even with my more expensive options. This is a newer facility so the physical appearance was very nice and up to date. It is very clean and bright and it smells great! I like that Mother's unit is built specifically for memory care, not a converted floor or hall. The unit is secure with secure admittance and exiting. There is no exit from the lovely outdoor courtyard except back into the unit. It seemed to be staffed pretty well and they had smiles! The staff seem to like their residents and each other, and there is a relatively low turnover. When we visited, there was interaction between residents in the common areas. The size of the rooms is large enough to accommodate a sleeping area as well as a conversation area and the bathroom is easy access and large enough for Mother's wheelchair. The food looked and smelled good! The management and staff care how our parents are living there, encouraging them, sharing stories about their own life. Based on our experience we would recommend Provision Living West Chester to other families. It's is very quiet there as well. They must have sound proofing in the walls. You don't hear anyone next door or in the halls.
