Great people, easy to work with, flexible and great with my mom.
They were excellent. Highly recommended. They were flexible, good communicators and they took great care of my mom. The caregiver made a genuine connection. They did a great job of keeping us updated on everything.

Home care is hard care!
There is inconsistent coverage which sends inconsistent message to mom; I would caution anyone showing up in their shower cap, not professional. Everyone doing this kind of work with the dementia pt. should be mandated to watch [name removed]; for the meals and dining - family provided but mom's schedule seems to not get relayed to new person coming and I'm not always here; Mom mom definitely not ready for a baby doll, again [name removed]; I know that it is really hard work, and that everyone is trying hard. I believed my mother would be best served with 7 days week for 4-6 hrs, and my father refuses.

My loved one uses home care services through Preferred Care and she is very happy with her caregivers. Hopefully she will eventually be comfortable enough to start using more of their services.

Review for Preferred Care at Home of Coastal Volusia, FL
They were very good. Only complaint is that if the helper called out sick, they weren't able to find a replacement them for the day. We picked this community because it was a small business. I spoke directly with owner. It felt more friendly.

I have known the managing partners of this region for over 25 years & regard them as very good hearted, Christian, community minded people. Suzette has over 40 yrs in the medical profession with a very good reputation. These are people you can count on and I certainly would have no reservation for utilizing their services for my own family.

Frequently Asked Questions
about Preferred Care at Home of Coastal Volusia, FL

A Place for Mom has scored Preferred Care at Home of Coastal Volusia, FL 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
