I would recommend them, but the casual attitude towards costs worries me as there are not limitless resources available for Dads care.

My loved one is currently a resident at Pacifica Senior Living Coeur d'Alene and everything has been great for her at this facility so far. The staff is great. The friendliness and cleanliness are great! The care services, meals and activities are also very good. I would definitely recommend Pacifica Senior Living Coeur d'Alene to family and friends!

Caring community for family.
What we like most about the Pacifica Senior Living Coeur d'Alene is always knowing that someone is there to care for my dad, making sure he eats the meals that are prepared, meds and hygiene as well as giving him a safe living environment

Do not recommend
Needed a place for Mom. Settled on Pacifica at Dalton Garden, North Idaho.
They are understaffed, lack moral, and not fair with the money. They billed autopay for services not performed and now it is a legal battle getting them to reimburse $800!

We picked this community, because of the cleanliness, interaction of staff with patients(caring g & kind), home like atmosphere.It was a great place to take your loved one, BUT BE SURE TO UNDERSTAND FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS. I would recommend it for ALL THE REASONS I HAVE ALREADY listed.

They acknowledge that they owe us a refund but refuse to answer calls about it.
Don't expect a refund if they owe you one. Despite the fact that they acknowledged that they owed us $[removed] upon checkout, they have been derelict in their duty to provide the refund and have completely ignored us. They do not answer our calls. They do not respond to Better Business Bureau inquiries or inquires from the Idaho attorney general. As far as the care they provided while our loved one was there, they would call us when there was an issue rather than handle it themselves.

A nice community with improvements
The community itself is very nice and very nice, and the staff that are there are very friendly and nice. However just like many other places they are struggling keeping a full staff and because of that, the promises we were sold on are not being followed through with. We were told they would have activities, but there is not activity director so the activities are very limited. The meals themselves are good, but the dining service could be better - in terms of picking up after meals. Also there is construction across the way so the parking is limited as well.

Due to the covid restrictions the activities were pretty much put to a stop, one thing we do wish the community would of done was give us a call or send a form of sypathy to our family when our loved one passed away.

The Executive Director is so warm and caring that it makes me feel so comforted by our choice for my mother. The small community size and the dedicated caregivers allow the caregivers to have a real connection with my mom (which was the most important thing).

My dad was a resident there. He was blind so NO ACTIVITIES for him. Very little effort to get him involved. Lots of turn over at this place. Communication is not very good. I had dry erase boards all over the room to ensure the staff knew what to do. Food is so/so. Director is MIA. Does not return phone calls or E-mails. They still owe me for an overcharge. Been waiting 2.5 weeks, I have heard "the check is in the mail" EVERY DAY.
I would not recommend the place.

Love these people and place.
From the moment my daughter and I stopped at Pacifica at Dalton, we were treated wonderful and had all our questions answered. Mom has been there 4 months now and she looks so great. Every one really seems to care about these people. I am so glad we found this place. I don't know what would be happening now if we hadn't.

This facility is beyond poor quality
My loved one was only here for 6 days and we ended up moving her out because the staff was incompetent. We were expecting the staff to be able to take care of her and it was just a mess. One night, there was only 1 nurse running two or three buildings. It’s also really noisy at night and some of the residents even smoke inside. There was even one nurse who had the flu and then continued to come into the room to help my loved one. I would not recommend this facility to other families.

We strive to ensure all residents and families find the peace they are seeking when choosing the right senior living community. Transitions into memory care can be a difficult time, and we usually ask for 30 days to settle into this new home and lifestyle . We encourage our residents with difficultly sleeping to enjoy time in the common areas or indulge in a midnight snack, so as not to disturb those who are sleeping. Indoor smoking is not permitted, and not tolerated. While we did have a difficult flu season in North Idaho (and around the country), as of today we have zero residents affected by the flu and fully expect that to continue. Again, we are sorry for your experience and we thank you for your valued feedback that we will use to make our community better for residents, families, and the team members that serve them every day. Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we can improve. We hope you will consider us again in the future.

It seems to be going pretty well. I don't have any major complaints at this point. It's clean and everyone is pretty friendly. The food looks and smells pretty good. I'm pretty happy with them so far.
