I have moved from here. Most categories are great except for the value. Rent goes up every year, some people are paying $[removed]. I am not sure why the rent is so high for seniors because they are going by each individual income vs Mshda scale!

Mom loves it here.
it has been a great experience so far. From leasing, to moving in, and living there almost a year. My mom really loves it there. We would highly recommend Baldwin House.

I visited Baldwin House Brownstown looking for a care place for my mother.
The grounds are wonderfully kept, very beautiful , great sized rooms and great lighting.
Smelled very clean, staff and director were very courteous and friendly with all we interacted with.
Will be on our list.

I would tell and have told relatives and friends that this is the best move I have made. Atmosphere is friendly, activities that enable you to meet residents, and socializing keeps you from isolation.

My family has had a very good experience at Baldwin House Brownstown. I have no complaints. It's clean. It's safe. The staff have good communication. And it's close to my home, so that helps too.

Highly recommend, great facility
The people were all lovely at Baldwin House. The staff are very heartwarming and they really cater to your individual needs. They have a lot of nice activities and events for the residents. They do things like birthday parties, potlucks, games, etc. It is an absolutely beautiful and wonderful place. The grounds are well kept and they do a beautiful job decorating for the holidays. I would highly recommend them to others who are looking.

My Review of Baldwin House Brownstone
They recently changed hands. They used to do activities and allow the residents to bring their pets, and they no longer allow this. This has put my loved one at a place where they stay in their room and don't participate in the offered activities.
If your loved one can go without their pet this would be a great place for your loved one.

My review of American House Brownstown
Due to the covid restrictions the activities are very limited, but our loved ones apartment is wonderful. It is a very nice place, and the staff members are extremely friendly. I would choose to live at the American House if I had to.

Great Caring Community
I would recommend this community to others. The community itself is very comforting, and they all try to help each other. It feels like a big family atmosphere.
I don't regret moving here. If I have ever needed something done, it gets done.

Highly Recommend
Brownstown is a beautiful location for mom. The rent is more than affordable, the apartments are gorgeous (lots of closet space), and the community is very active. There is a lot going around town and there is an awesome walking path in the back. She has met a lot of great people there. Staff is caring and go out of their way, building is very clean, never have to wait for maintenance to be done. Right by police station so she feels safe. 5/5

When my sister and I arrived we were told they did not have an appointment for us on the schedule. However they still accommodated us and were very kind. My sister only had two comments of concern. Stated the place had a nursing home feel to it upon entry. Also was uncomfortable with the long halls. Otherwise, she liked the units we were shown and thought they were very nice. Still looking.

A good community
The staff at this community are really sharp and efficient. The maintenance and housekeeping are friendly and very helpful. They do not offer a lot of social activities. I would recommend this community.

I do feel comfortable with my father move to this community. I love to this community, everything is working our very well, and I'am pleased with his move here. This is a great community with kind people. Everyone has been wonderful.

Friendly Staff and Residents!!
I am enjoying my stay at this community. They have a variety of activities available, and the residents are very nice. They do not provide meals or housekeeping. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a place with friendly people.

Community not friendly here
I am not happy with this community. The neighbors are not friendly. I do not get any assistance when needed. I like the staff, but not happy here. I am not sure I would recommend this community to other families.
