Amada has provided my brother with excellent services. As a matter of fact they facilitated the involvement of the VA in providing their individual services for him. I would recommend Amada Home care to those in need.

Overall would recommend
We hired a helper in [date removed]. [name removed] came initially to meet us, then [name removed] came to interview us for what we needed. I do like the fact that Amada is willing to do less hours a week than other agencies. Mom only utilized the helper for about a month, then my father was able to start driving. They haven't needed help since then. I would not hesitate to call Amada if/when the time comes that they need help again.

Review for Amada Senior Care of Bucks and Montgomery County, PA
I was not happy with Amada . The first person that they sent had already given her resignation so she was only here for one day, then they sent another young lady and she only lasted three weeks and she resign due to health issues however she contacted me directly to tell me that it was regarding lack of pay and not enough hours.

Amada senior care in a pinch
At first they were great and very responsive, but once the care givers that we had established, left for personal reasons, they changed the staff every time, which was disheartening for our elderly parents with Alzheimer's and dementia so they stopped letting people in the house

Lack of staff
1st care taker sent had already given her notice but they still sent her for 1 day… 2nd care taker only lasted 3 weeks and then resigned due to personal medical issues (?). Amada then wanted to send a person without me intervening with them. I don’t think they have committed staff members.

Responsive at first
Initial meeting was good and they were very responsive, however, the four hour minimum and the timing of what we needed proved to be too much for them. They had difficulty finding consistent staff to meet our needs, and the constant changeover was too much for our parents who suffer from dementia and Alzheimer’s. Not sure if any other agency would do better and I don’t know when we will find out because now the parents are insisting that nobody other than family come in their house. On a positive note, they did have a few really good staff members that were very caring.

We used home care services through Amada Senior Care of Bucks and Montgomery County for our loved one. The agency contact who handles everything was great. Very responsive and communicated with me daily. They got me someone on short notice who was lovely. One caregiver was late and not friendly, but other two were very nice. I would recommend this agency to others for home care needs.

Communication was excellent. The owner came out and spoke with us at length. He is very caring and compassionate. We had the intake person come in. She also was very helpful. After discussing our needs, it was determined that another company might work out better because of the shift needs that we have. We need split shifts. I would recommend them to others.
