Be Clear no clarity on prorated payment
The biggest complaint that I have with this community is that once he started going downhill they gave him a lot of morphine and I had my loved one go to the hospital. I also paid them for a the services and my loved one was only there for a few days and said I was not getting anything back. The caregivers were really good besides one but once he started changing the services changed also. The biggest thing for me is that they did not give me the money back and I think they should have.

Did not fit our needs
I think that they are better equip to help someone who is more sedentary. I think it would be a better fit for someone who has mild to no behavioral problems. It just did not fit our loved ones needs.

Home away from home
Our loved one was only there for a couple of months, and we just cannot say enough good things about Alder Leaf. We had such a wonderful experience, we could not of picked a better place for our father. They took such great care of him, the owner and staff team just amazed our family immediately, they really just put our family at ease.

a homey atmophere
The staff was wonderful and the director was just awesome. They were friendly and compasionate. communication between the staff and our family was very good. They kept us well informed and up to date. The community was smaller and they were very encouraging to the residence I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

Review of Alder Leaf at Castlegate
Placing my dad at Alder Leaf was the best decision I could have made.
The home was warm and welcoming and I really felt like I was with family. The owner and staff went above and beyond to make my dad feel at home and give me peace of mind. He was there to recover from surgery but was ultimately the home where he passed. I am so grateful to the wonderful staff and can't thank them enough for caring for the
both of us.

Perfect Place!
We’re moving my mother from a big facility in to this smaller community, where the caregiver to resident ratio is much smaller. This will be much more intimate and family oriented.
Met with [name removed] and [name removed] to tour the house. We went over the paperwork, requirements, expectations, etc. Both [name removed] & [name removed] are professional & friendly. They answered every question fully & made us feel comfortable. I wish we had found them sooner!
